I ndeed help with the Results and Discussion section of the paper.
My hypothesis are: we predict that bilinguals will show greater multitasking ability compared to monolinguals. Question: Do you think age of fluency will matter?
Do you think number of fluent languages will matter?
Multitasking Assessment (the meanings of different tasks) in the multitasking assessment:
RT for pure trials = mean milliseconds taken to respond correctly to a pure trial
RT for mixed trials = mean milliseconds taken to respond correctly to a mixed trial
Mix Cost = RT for mixed trials – RT for pure trials
Lower numbers mean less interference in performance from having to do two tasks at once better multitasking.
RT for repeat trials = mean milliseconds taken to respond correctly to a mixed trial that is the same task (shape, filling) as the preceding trial
RT for switch trials = mean milliseconds taken to respond correctly to a mixed trial that is the opposite task (shape, filling) as the preceding trial
Switch Cost = RT for switch trials – RT for repeat trials
Lower numbers mean less interference in performance from having to switch tasks better multitasking
there will be 4 tests, we have to report full stats (M, SD, t, df, p) for each of them.
this is table 1for analyses.

teacher gave two references to use, which are:
-Prior & Macwhinney (2010) and -Paap & Greenberg (2013) Found no evidence
Do not use these references. I’ll need 4 more to support the hypothesis and the results.
