Instructions from professor
————————————————————————————————————————————————–1. You are the event planner (project manager) for a birthday event.
2. The parents have asked you to throw a party for their kid, you will need to sit down and have a discussion with them to get details about the party.
3. This discussion will generate a list of questions by you (the project manager), that you will give the answers to as if you were the parent. as a result of this discussion you will create five documents.
B. Questions (and Answers): List of questions you (the project manager) have from the party owner (the main stakeholder) and their answers (WORD docx)
The party owner is the client, the person that asked you to put and manage the event and put it together.
After you are done with the questions, answer each question
D. Project Scope: Write a list of everything included and not included in the project (as part of the party package) (WORD docx)
You are basically expanding on the requirement document. That one has everything the client absolutely has to have included. The scope has those plus anything else that you are including in the project and things that one might expect, but not part of this project.
Things not included. These will generally come from the questions you asked earlier and got an answer of no or do not include, or a modified version of what is normally expected. For example, one might expect party gifts, but it might not be needed for this event.
E. Project Plan: Write down all the steps needed to complete the project from scratch (EXCEL doc).
Make sure the steps are in order.
The steps must be detailed enough, so that someone else following those instructions can complete the project in the exact same way as you intended.
