I am currently working as a supervisor for Heritage Management in Merced, CA. We are a city with a population of about 78,000 people. University of Merced, California was established in 2005 and has brought many new people to our town looking for housing, especially students. I oversee 3 apartment communities in Merced with 537 apartment. We are in a prime location of Merced and in 2016 we went into contract with UC Merced to house about 750 of their students. We rented over 45% of our communities to the UC and as of this year our contract has expired and UC Merced has turned over the 248 units that they were renting. We are already a well know property management company in Merced and within the UC community with staff and students. The contract we had with UC Merced was very profitable and when I began my Master’s program with California State University, Stanislaus I chose to do my research project on the benefits of keeping those units as student housing for Heritage Management. With our contract expiring and the effects of COVID-19, I have had no time to work on my project, which has set me behind quite a bit. I am really looking for help and guidance to complete my project. I can provide all the company information along with all the bids I received from the furniture company for the furniture and internet services. I am willing to work along side with someone and provide as much information as I can, I just need help putting in all on paper. Each month I have to provide an updated outline, but I am behind on that as well. I would also like help on updating that. My next update has to be on May 31st. I would like to have a draft done before the middle of June so I can make any revisions or work with someone to make those revisions. My goal is to have it complete by the end of June and I know that is a lot with the amount of work that needs to be done, but I would really appreciate the help.
